Nominate a colleague or staff member
An internal residency will see you agree to meet Future Leaders expectations of residency schools as well as demonstrate how you will backfill the Future Leaders existing role when necessary and communicate the change in role to staff. You must also be prepared to release your Future Leader from school in order that they can do a five day placement at another school within our network during their residency year.
If you are interested in offering an internal residency you will:
- Ensure the candidate states in the application form that they are prepared to do an internal residency and are being supported by their current school.
- Complete a statement of support as part of the candidate’s application. The candidate’s internal application will not be progressed until that form has been accepted.
Please note that we have a limited number of places on the Future Leaders programme for in-school nominations and that there is no guarantee that the candidate will be successful in the recruitment process. The school is also expected to continue to pay the full salary.
