The Future Leaders programme is now one route of the National College's (formerly NCSL) new Accelerate to Headship programme.
The programme presents talented and committed people with a unique opportunity to develop their leadership skills in preparation for NPQH and headship, and thus make a significant difference to the lives of children and young people.
It is designed for those with the passion and vision for headship and the drive and commitment to complete the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) within just four years.
Accelerate to Headship has two distinct routes:
Future Leaders – for current or former teachers who are committed to leading a challenging urban secondary school and improving the life chances of pupils, regardless of background. Available in London, the North West, the West Midlands and Yorkshire and the Humber.
Tomorrow’s Heads – suitable for teachers and non teaching professionals who have their sights set on headship in primary, special or non urban secondary schools across the UK.
