Q
A
Your assigned Leadership Development Adviser (LDA) is a current/former headteacher with extensive experience in challenging schools and her/his role is to support and challenge the participant and in that way ensure that both the school and the participant are getting the best out of the residency year. The LDA will visit the participant 8 times during the residency year to coach and discuss the Future Leader’s progress, formally assess them and agree development targets. The LDA will request regular feedback from you and your in-school mentor and will hold a three way conversation with the head and in-school mentor every term on the progress of the Future Leader. You and your colleagues will also be asked to complete an online 360° tool for your participant once a year.
