Sir Keith Ajegbo, Leadership Development Adviser, London
Keith taught in London schools throughout his career, working in comprehensives in Wandsworth, Hackney and Lewisham. He spent 20 years as Head of Deptford Green in Lewisham. At Deptford Green, the school grew in size from 600 to 1200 pupils and established a national reputation as a high-performing inner city school. He was awarded the OBE for services to education in 1996 and knighted in 2007.
He is currently working as an education consultant and was lead writer of the report on Diversity and Citizenship to the DCSF. Currently a Governor of the Bridge Academy and Chair of the Education Committee, Chair of the School Linking Network, Vice Chair of the Stephen Lawrence Trust and a trustee of the Citizenship Foundation.
Sir Keith has been a Future Leaders Leadership Development Adviser since the inaugural Cohort in '06.
